Eden High Secondary

We are committed to develop the moral and spiritual values

Eden High Secondary

The Eden High School has at its heart a clear focus on academic achievement together with a firm commitment to develop the moral and spiritual values and skills of all our young people.

We live in a society where there are mounting pressures on our young people that academic achievement cannot necessarily relieve, therefore our teaching within the high school is particularly geared to being sensitive to the emotional needs of each child and our class structure is flexible enough to accommodate the students who may feel overwhelmed throughout the day.
Our highly trained TAs are guided to support and nurture students during those difficult times.

The curriculum is thoughtfully planned and resourced to ensure that our students develop good learning habits. We offer a wide range of GCSE options and students are encouraged to include a mixture of academic, creative and practical into their GSCE option choices.

GCSE Maths and Science classes are taught in sets.

All Year 10 students are required to participate in our Work Experience programme for two weeks in the year.
